In Kyrgyzstan, a ceremony was held to transfer 81 units of vehicles to the Ministry of Defense, attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev.

On behalf of the president and the government, Kasymaliev congratulated the military on the new acquisition, which was made using budget funds. Among the received vehicles are 19 JAC T-6 units and 36 Chevrolet cars, which were produced at the local plant "Tulpar Motors."

“Defending the Motherland is a sacred duty. A modern army must combine the spirit of our ancestors with the knowledge of the current era. Today's soldiers, like their predecessors, possess courage and resilience, but instead of swords, they now have modern technology. They use law and order instead of shields, knowledge and precise calculations instead of bows, and unity and military discipline replace personal strength. We are confident that our military understands their responsibility to the country. For you, the oath is not just words, but destiny. An order is not an obligation, but an honor. Service is not a job, but a lifelong responsibility. With such an army, our borders will be reliably protected, the sky will remain peaceful, and the state will be stable,” he noted, adding that the new equipment will improve troop mobility and ensure the safe movement of personnel.

Kasymaliev also pointed to the significant strengthening of the country's defense capabilities in recent years. Compared to 2018-2019, the budget of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic has increased by more than 300%. These funds are primarily directed towards the development of the material and technical base, the purchase of modern weapons and equipment, as well as the modernization of the infrastructure of military units and garrisons.

The head of the government noted that the Ministry of Defense has successfully completed the first stage of digitalization, optimizing the processes of document flow and accounting for civilian personnel. Currently, a pilot electronic military registration system is already operational in five military enlistment offices, with plans to implement it in another 25 offices by the end of March this year. The process of digitalizing military IDs has also begun.

Furthermore, Kasymaliev addressed issues of social support for the military. Currently, daily housing rental allowances in Bishkek have been increased to 500 soms, and in the regions to 420 soms. Military personnel also receive monthly payments under mortgage programs—18,000 soms for the capital and 15,000 soms for the regions. The state is ready to provide mortgage compensation for military personnel with over 20 years of service, as well as the opportunity to purchase housing in any chosen location. In the near future, more than 900 apartments will be provided for military personnel through the State Mortgage Company in buildings that are in the final stages of construction.
