Experts from the agency found that one of the supplier companies (LLC), which signed a contract for the supply of arms, did not fulfill its obligations. An audit conducted by the Ministry of Finance revealed damage amounting to 244 million 587 thousand 870 soms, which is approximately 2.7 million euros.
According to the SCNS, within the framework of the initiated criminal case and the conducted investigative actions, the specified amount has been fully compensated by the supplier.
The Committee also reported ongoing operational-search activities aimed at identifying officials of the Ministry of Defense who may have been involved in this corruption scheme.
