The Ministry of Defense of Russia has for the first time showcased the 'Oreshnik'
For the first time, the mobile ground-based missile system 'Oreshnik' was presented by the Ministry of Defense of Russia as part of its new combat service phase in Belarus.

As noted by representatives of the agency, military personnel have undergone retraining using modern training technologies. Necessary conditions have been created to carry out combat tasks, and the personnel are mastering new territories for patrolling.

Recall that on November 21 of last year, Russian forces struck an important facility of the Ukrainian defense complex in Dnipro, testing a new medium-range missile system. It was mentioned that with mass use, this system is capable of producing effects comparable to a nuclear strike, although it is not classified as a weapon of mass destruction.

In December 2024, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko appealed to Vladimir Putin with a request to deploy the latest weapons, including the 'Oreshnik' system, on the territory of the republic.
