In 2015, a credit organization allocated 22 million euros to the Bishkek city administration to improve the material and technical base, acquire specialized equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, and garbage trucks, as well as for the design and construction of the landfill. These funds were intended for the municipal enterprises "Tazalyk" and "Bishkek Sanitary Landfill".
According to the audit, the preliminary damage to the budget from the unlawful use of credit funds amounts to about 182 million soms.




On January 12 of this year, as part of the investigation into the corruption article, former vice-mayor of Bishkek S. R. A., former director of the "Bishkek Sanitary Landfill" A. A. Zh., as well as leaders of contracting organizations I. V. R. and A. N. B. were detained. All of them were placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security.
The State Committee for National Security continues its work to identify all officials involved in the case and clarify the extent of the damage caused.
