The message from the State Committee for National Security concerns the detention of three police officers working in the Uzgen District Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the SCNS, on January 3 in Uzgen, the police officers, abusing their position, unlawfully arrested two citizens and brought them to the police station in Kurshab without proper procedural documentation.
Furthermore, the agency claims that physical violence was applied against the detainees, resulting in serious injuries to one of them, who sustained a closed head injury, a contusion, and brain swelling.
