In 2026, the capital of Kyrgyzstan will undergo significant reconstruction of Buurdinskaya Street, which will be 1200 meters long. This information became known during the inspection visit of Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev to various city facilities.

According to the city hall, the project plans to create a two-lane road and construct sidewalks that are 2 meters wide. Additionally, landscaping of the adjacent square will be carried out.

It is worth noting that the mayor met with the residents of Buurdinskaya Street, listening to their opinions and suggestions regarding the upcoming changes.

As a result of this meeting, an order was given to notify the residents of the houses located beyond the red line. The Department of Land Use Control was also tasked with dismantling light structures located along the road.
