An extended meeting was held in Bishkek, attended by 16 private insurance companies of Kyrgyzstan. The event was organized by the State Insurance Organization (GSO), acting as the national operator in the field of reinsurance.
Reinsurance involves the distribution of risks among insurance companies, which helps to minimize potential losses.
The discussion covered current market issues as well as ways for joint development and strengthening the financial stability of the participants. As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to develop unified internal regulations for reinsurance and to collaborate on market capitalization.
The outcomes of the meeting were sent to the Ministry of Economy and the Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market.
According to experts, these initiatives could significantly enhance the reliability of insurance in the country and protect companies from serious financial losses.
