2,882 civil servants fined 13.7 million soms for incorrectly submitted declarations

In 2025, the Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted an inspection of compliance with the rules for submitting a unified tax declaration on income, expenses, obligations, and property concerning state and municipal officials. This was reported by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office.

During the inspection, it was revealed that 3,472 officials either did not submit a declaration for 2024 or did so with violations of deadlines or with inaccurate data.

"Based on Article 438 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, administrative proceedings were initiated regarding these facts, and the materials were forwarded to the judicial authorities. As a result, 2,882 officials were fined a total of 13 million 674 thousand soms," the statement noted.

As for the remaining officials, their cases are currently undergoing judicial proceedings.
