
Jakarta welcomed 16 national teams, which were divided into four groups. Based on the results of the group stage, the two strongest teams from each group will continue to compete in the quarter-finals.
The Kyrgyzstan national team, known as "Ak Shumkary," is in Group A, where it will face the tournament hosts — the Indonesians, as well as teams from Iraq and South Korea. The Kyrgyz team will play its first match today, January 27, against the Iraqi national team.

All teams secured their spots in the tournament through successful performances in the qualifying competitions held from September 20 to 24, 2025, in various countries across Asia. The tournament is organized under the auspices of the AFC and will last until February 7.
