The tournament, featuring 16 teams, started on January 27 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In their first match, the team led by Nurzhan Jetibaev lost to Iraq with a score of 2:4.
In another match of the same group, the Indonesian team confidently defeated the Korean team, finishing the match with a score of 5:0.
The second round will take place on January 29, and the Kyrgyz team will face the tournament hosts — the Indonesian national team.
At the end of the group stage, the top two teams will advance to the playoffs.
