Zheenbek Kulubaev took part in a meeting with the President of Germany in Berlin

On February 11, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, participated in a meeting with the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, along with the heads of foreign policy agencies of Central Asian countries.

During the discussion, Jeenbek Kulubaev conveyed greetings and best wishes from Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan, to President Steinmeier. He emphasized the importance of high-level visits that took place in 2023 and 2024, noting that they served as a catalyst for deepening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany. The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in further developing partnerships in the areas of trade, economy, investment, and cultural exchange.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier, for his part, noted the positive dynamics in ensuring stability and security in the region, and also highlighted the energy, trade, and transport-transit potential of Central Asia. The President of Germany also expressed readiness for further development of cooperation with these countries and recalled his visit to the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the issues of glacier melting and the need for joint actions on climate change.
