The new Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago has been appointed

President Sadyr Japarov has signed a decree appointing Chyngyz Eshimbekov as the new Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in the American city of Chicago. This was reported by the information policy department of the president's office.

It is worth noting that prior to this, in October 2025, Bolotbek Borbiev left the position of Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chicago.

Eshimbekov previously served as the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar from 2019 to 2023.
