Minister of Energy: Pensioners without receipts, but the state saved 40 tons of paper

The official shared the advantages of digitalization

At a meeting in the Jogorku Kenesh, Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev reported that the state saved 40 tons of paper by abolishing the printing of receipts.

This step is part of the digitalization process that the government is actively implementing.

Currently, all necessary data is transmitted through the mobile application "My Light".

In addition, the implementation of smart meters from 2022 to 2023 has saved 290 million soms, and the number of inspectors has decreased by 416 people.

However, complaints continue to come from citizens, particularly pensioners and low-income individuals, who express dissatisfaction with the absence of paper bills.
