At the republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo," the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, reported that the total revenue from Kumtor from 2021 to 2025 amounted to 5 billion 115 million dollars, which is equivalent to over 440 billion soms.
Of this amount, 1 billion 176 million dollars was received in the form of taxes and mandatory payments to the state budget, exceeding 100 billion soms.
While dividends from Kumtor totaled only 100 million dollars from 1994 to the present, in the last four years this amount has increased to 441 million dollars (about 38 billion soms).
Thus, Kumtor has become a reliable source of income for Kyrgyzstan, providing funding for social programs and infrastructure initiatives.
This decision, of exceptional significance, has become an important step towards the economic independence of our country.
