At a closed hearing in the U.S. Congress, Bill Clinton, the former president of the country, and his wife Hillary testified in a case related to Jeffrey Epstein. Clinton described their meeting with Epstein as brief.

“My acquaintance with Epstein ended long before his crimes became known to the public,” Clinton noted.

He added that during their limited interactions, he “never noticed any signs of what was really happening.” According to him, “everything I saw and, more importantly, what I did not see, matters. I know what I did, and, more importantly, what I did not do. I did not see anything bad and did not commit anything reprehensible.”

The former president emphasized that, having been raised in an environment where violence was present, he would never have boarded Epstein's plane if he had the slightest idea about his activities, adding that he himself would have initiated an investigation into his crimes.

Hillary Clinton also confirmed that she had no information about Epstein's crimes. “I did not know about his activities. I do not remember meeting him. I never flew on his plane and never visited his island or office,” she told the congressmen.

U.S. President Donald Trump signed a law for the publication of all materials related to the Epstein case in November 2025. Questions about Epstein's connections were raised by both Democrats and Republicans. Earlier, Democrats released Epstein's letters, which claimed that Clinton “knew about the girls.” In response, Trump called on the FBI to investigate Epstein's connections with Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States.
