At the meeting, the deputies inspected secondary school No. 4 in Talas, which was built in 1932. Currently, the building is in an emergency state, not meeting modern educational standards. The foundation of the building has subsided, and the classroom walls are affected by moisture. Despite a decrease in the number of students in recent years, more than 450 children are still studying at the school, according to the administration's information.
The parliamentarians strongly urged the construction of a new school, while the head of the group, Akylbek Tumonbaev, instructed the Deputy Minister of Construction, Samat Janteliyev, to include the project for the new educational facility in the current year's plan.
The issue of relocating the regional tuberculosis hospital, which is located in a densely populated area of Talas, was also raised.
Deputy Minister of Health Bakytbek Kadyraliyev noted that this issue will be thoroughly examined and appropriate measures will be taken.
