During tax control raids, employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic discovered a significant amount of excise goods being sold without excise stamps in Bishkek. This was reported by the press service of the STS.

In particular, it concerns 13 thousand units of various beverages, including alcoholic, energy, and sugary drinks, which lacked the necessary excise stamps.

According to the results of the inspection, acts were drawn up on-site, and the case materials were sent to law enforcement agencies for further legal analysis in accordance with current legislation.

The State Tax Service warns that strict measures are provided for the sale of excise goods without excise stamps: a fine of 100,000 soms is imposed for the sale of up to 200 units, while for the sale of more than 200 units, punishment may include up to 7 years of imprisonment.

The tax service strongly urges entrepreneurs to ensure compliance with the law and to avoid selling excise goods without excise stamps, as well as to verify their authenticity.

In addition, citizens are advised to carefully check for the presence of excise stamps on alcoholic products and to immediately report any suspicious goods to the tax authorities.

For quick access to information about excise stamps, a special service is available in the mobile application "Salyk.kg," which allows users to scan stamps or enter data manually.

Remember that alcoholic and tobacco products are marked with digital codes in Data Matrix format. For detailed information about products, you can use the mobile application "Teksher."
