In this regard, relevant reports were drawn up at the scene, and the materials were forwarded to law enforcement agencies for further investigation in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“According to the legislation, selling excise goods without excise stamps carries penalties: for the sale of up to 200 units — a fine of 100,000 soms, and for selling more than 200 units, more serious penalties may apply, including imprisonment for up to 7 years,” the statement specifies.
Additionally, the State Tax Service noted that a new service was implemented in the mobile application Salyk.kg for more efficient verification of information about excise stamps, which allows both scanning and manual data entry.
