Due to the worsening weather conditions in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, avalanche descents are expected. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the agency's data, avalanches are predicted on sections of the roads Bishkek - Osh (198–255 km, Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge) and Karakol - Enilchek (45–90 km, Chon-Ashuu Pass), as well as possible snow drifts, snow cover, and ice.
Drivers are advised to maintain a safe distance of 500 meters between vehicles.
