
After preventive measures, they renounced radical views
In order to curb the illegal activities of participants in the religious extremist organization "Yakyn Inkar," employees of the State Committee for National Security conducted searches at the residential addresses of 18 of its members in the Issyk-Kul region on January 22, 2026. This event was reported by the agency's press service.
During the searches, religious literature of extremist content was seized from the suspects, as well as mobile devices, which were documented as evidence in the case.
After preventive work was carried out with these members of the religious extremist organization "Yakyn Inkar," they publicly renounced their radical beliefs.
