The key task of these activities is to refute the ideology of "Yakin-Inkar" and convey the views of traditional Islam to its followers.
According to data from the DUMK, currently more than 150 people across the republic have officially renounced the views of this movement, including the leader of its Kyrgyzstan wing.
It is noteworthy that former participants acknowledged the error of their beliefs and expressed regret, confirming their readiness to follow the guidance of the Council of Ulema, the requirements of the DUMK, and the laws of the country.
“We once became too engrossed in propaganda and asceticism. We renounce the path of ‘Inkar’ not out of fear of the muftiate, but for the unity of the ummah and the peace of Muslims in Kyrgyzstan. Going forward, as citizens, we will abide by the laws of the state, and as Muslims, we will follow the fatwas of the muftiate. We support the mufti's efforts to strengthen consensus and unity,” noted one of the former activists of the movement.
Awareness-raising work continues throughout the country.
The "Yakin-Inkar" movement is considered extremist and is banned in Kyrgyzstan by court decision. It emerged from the "Tablighi Jamaat" movement but eventually separated into a distinct group with more radical views.
The ideology of "Yakin-Inkar" is based on the denial of the authority of official religious institutions and the non-recognition of the fatwas of the Council of Ulema, which, according to experts, can lead to a schism in the Muslim community and social isolation of its supporters.
