According to information from the press service of the Department of Road Safety under the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, on February 7, 2026, a video appeared on social media showing the moment when a "Honda Stepwgn" was driving in the opposite lane, which is a clear violation of traffic rules and poses a threat to the safety of other road users.
The driver was identified in the Jayil district, where a report was drawn up against him, and a fine of 15,000 soms was imposed.
In accordance with part 5 of article 188 of the Code of Offenses, he was fined 15,000 soms. A preventive conversation was also held with the driver to explain the traffic rules.
