- Employees of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR) discovered that the territory of the former machine yard, which was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and located in the village of Tamchy, was unlawfully transferred to private hands. This became known on February 9 from a press release by the GKNB.

“From 2000 to 2004, the specified real estate was sold by the Republican Center for Land and Agrarian Reform to third parties without conducting the necessary auctions, which contradicts the Regulation ‘On the Features of Denationalization and Privatization of State Farms and Other State (Municipal) Agricultural Enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic,’” the GKNB clarified.

As a result of the conducted inspection, a land plot of 1.5 hectares, on which buildings are located, has been returned to the state.
