The press release notes that according to the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, adopted in 1995, social infrastructure facilities cannot be sold by state or privatized enterprises, regardless of the state’s share in the authorized capital. These facilities must remain on the balance sheet or be transferred free of charge, provided their original purpose is preserved.
According to information from the GKNB, the plot was illegally transferred to private ownership with a change in its intended use, which is a violation of the aforementioned decree.
As a result of the conducted activities, this land plot along with the buildings was returned to state ownership and is now on the balance of the Osh city administration. This, as emphasized in the statement, will contribute to the improvement of social infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for the city's residents.
