In Osh, part of the territory of the central stadium has been returned to state ownership. This information was announced by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
The returned area includes buildings and has a total area of 2700 square meters.
According to the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 16, 1995, No. 37 "On Urgent Measures to Ensure Conditions for the Further Use of Social Infrastructure Facilities," social infrastructure facilities cannot be sold by either state or privatized enterprises, regardless of the state’s share in the authorized capital. This applies to facilities that are on their balance sheet or were transferred free of charge during privatization with the obligation to maintain the existing order of their use.
As clarified by the GKNB, this facility was illegally transferred to private ownership with a change in its intended use, which is a violation of the aforementioned Decree.
