The information provided by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs indicates that the suspect sold 50 calves and spent the proceeds on online gambling. The total amount of damage is 3.7 million soms.
On February 6, a representative of the farm "K.Z." reported to the police, complaining about the actions of 25-year-old J.E., who worked as a cattle herder.
According to law enforcement data, in October 2025, he took on the responsibilities of caring for the cattle until April 2026. However, in January 2026, not waiting for the term to end, he sold the animals and lost the money in gambling.
In connection with the above-mentioned fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the misappropriation and embezzlement of entrusted property.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is currently ongoing.
