This operation was conducted jointly with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and aimed at combating corruption within law enforcement agencies.
The detainee, B.M.B., born in 1992, was investigating a serious crime against the sexual integrity of a minor, involving several perpetrators (N.E., S.B., K.O.). Despite the results of the forensic medical examination confirming the guilt of all suspects, the investigator decided to terminate the criminal prosecution against S.B. and K.O.
The GKNB clarified that to legitimize his decision, the detainee apparently coerced the minor into giving false testimony in defense of the released suspects.

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek decided to place B.M.B. in custody, and he was placed in the pre-trial detention center of the GKNB of Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, the agency added that the case of the rape of the minor will be further investigated, and all guilty parties will be held accountable under the law.
