Employees of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) together with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted the detention of an official from the Internal Affairs Department of the Kemin district.
According to the investigation, B.M.B., born in 1992, while investigating a case of the gang rape of a minor, violated the law by terminating criminal proceedings against two suspects contrary to the conclusions of the forensic examination.
It has been revealed that to legitimize his decision, he coerced the minor into giving false testimony that was beneficial to the suspects.
Based on the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek, the detainee was placed in custody and sent to the GKNB pre-trial detention center.
In addition, the investigative authorities of the GKNB plan to re-examine the materials of the criminal case regarding the rape of the minor, and all those involved will be given an appropriate legal assessment.
