The incident occurred on April 2, 2021, when M. K. reported to the Internal Affairs Department about fraudulent actions by a little-known person named E. He deceived M. K. into giving him money, promising to help resolve an issue related to the arrest of his son in Moscow. From November 10, 2020, to January 15, 2021, the fraudster received 1 million 50 thousand rubles from the victim and then disappeared.
A criminal case was initiated by the investigative authorities under Article 204 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detained individual is currently undergoing verification for possible involvement in other similar crimes.
