On February 20, 2026, a video appeared on Instagram from a resident of the city of Manas named "M.A.A.", which caused public concern. In this video, he expressed provocative opinions about the current socio-political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic and mentioned possible conflicts between regions. The information was provided by the press service of the GKNB.
In response, a preventive conversation was held with "M.A.A.", during which he was explained the inadmissibility of spreading false information and speculations regarding alleged conflicts among state bodies, as well as statements that could lead to tension between regions, as noted in the committee's message.
As a result of the explanatory work, "M.A.A." deleted his video and issued a denial.
The GKNB also reminded that actions that promote hatred or enmity based on national, regional, racial, or other grounds may result in legal liability under the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
