Tax officials intercepted the import of 11 tons of expired sweets into Kyrgyzstan

The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan has prevented the import of a batch of confectionery products that had expired. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

During the inspection of the truck, inspectors found 4,179 boxes of expired sweets, with a total weight of nearly 11 tons. However, the documents provided by the carrier indicated only 7 tons.

After the detention, the tax service employees drew up reports and sealed the vehicle. The vehicle has been temporarily placed in a towing lot, and all materials have been transferred to law enforcement agencies for further action.
