According to the regional police, on February 14, 2026, at approximately 01:15, a report was received in the duty unit of the Nooken district police from a hospital. It stated that a resident of the city of Kochkor-Ata, born in 1994, had been hospitalized in the surgical department with bodily injuries.
This fact was registered by the investigative service of the Nooken district police in an electronic information log, after which verification activities began.
During the investigation, it was established that on February 13, 2026, at approximately 23:40, citizen O.A., born in 1994, was visiting his brother-in-law in the city of Kochkor-Ata. When he was returning home, his brother-in-law — B.B., born in 1992 — caught up with him and suddenly struck him with a kitchen knife in the chest and head areas. Additionally, the attacker bit off the victim's left ear.
Upon investigation, it was found that the suspect B.B. was in a state of alcohol intoxication. A kitchen knife was seized from the scene as material evidence.
Based on this fact, the investigative service of the Nooken district police initiated a criminal case against B.B. under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code. The Nooken district court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for the suspect.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out.
