In the village of Chaldovar, located in the Panfilov district, the body of a man was discovered. The press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region reports that a 49-year-old local resident has been detained on suspicion of causing serious harm that led to death.
A signal about the incident was received by the police on February 26, 2026, at approximately 13:06. An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene.
According to preliminary information, at 09:00, in the house of citizen Sh.R. (born in 1976), a conflict occurred during the joint consumption of alcoholic beverages with neighbor T.I. (born in 1958). During the quarrel, the homeowner inflicted one stab wound to the right thigh. The blow turned out to be fatal, and the victim died on the spot.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning causing serious harm to health.
The suspect has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Necessary examinations and investigative actions are currently being conducted. The investigation is ongoing.
