On February 23, 2026, one of the residents of the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region contacted the police. He reported that in November 2025, an acquaintance promised to sell him two plots of land. However, after receiving the money and cars, the fraudster disappeared without fulfilling his obligations.

According to the victim, he initially handed over 350,000 soms near a café in Osh, and then another 100,000. In addition, he gave a VAZ-2107 car worth 100,000 soms and an Elantra car valued at 700,000 soms. In total, the damage amounted to 1 million 250 thousand soms.
During the operational actions, police officers were able to identify the suspect — a 36-year-old resident of the Kara-Suu district. A criminal case was initiated against him under the article "Fraud," and the Osh city court decided to detain him for two months. Furthermore, the police noted that the suspect had previously had legal problems and had been repeatedly held criminally liable.
