According to information provided by Turmush, the local resident who became a victim of the traffic accident died in the hospital the day after the incident.
The road incident took place on March 2 at 15:50 on Lenin Street, when a passenger car struck a pedestrian crossing the road. The injured woman was promptly taken to the regional hospital.
As reported by specialists from the Tokmok Center for General Medical Practice (CGMP), despite all the efforts of the medical staff, the woman passed away on March 3.
According to the doctors' conclusion, death was caused by a thrombus detachment. "The patient experienced a thrombus detachment in a vessel. She had previously suffered from thromboembolism," the medical institution reported.
The woman who died as a result of the incident was born in 1951.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting the necessary examinations to determine the degree of the driver's guilt and clarify all circumstances of the incident.
