After discussion, the judicial panel decided to return the case to the Lenin District Court for reconsideration in light of newly discovered circumstances, overturning the decisions of previous instances.
At the same time, on October 10, 2024, the Lenin District Court had already issued a verdict regarding 11 journalists.
It is worth recalling that Mahabat Tajibek kyzy, the wife of Bolot Temirov, was found guilty under Articles 41 Part 2 and 278 Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertain to calls for mass riots and violence. As a result, she was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment.
