Recently, lawyer Asel Argymbaeva, who visited Mahabat Tajibek kyzy, shared her letter with the public, having received the journalist's consent for this. In the letter, Mahabat expressed gratitude to those who support her.

Asel noted that Tajibek kyzy received hundreds of letters from people around the world, many of whom do not know her personally but wish to express their support. All letters reach her, and she reads them, although she cannot respond to each one personally.

In her letter, Mahabat thanked everyone who wrote to her, emphasizing that in moments of loneliness, it was the words of support that helped her keep moving forward. "Your letters inspired me and gave me hope," she wrote.

The journalist added that her time in prison helped her become more sociable and learn to adapt to different situations. "Not all staff or inmates are bad. There are those who support me," noted Tajibek kyzy, saying that the administration of the facility created conditions for her creative development, including drawing and playing the komuz.

She also reported that she initiated the updating of the library for inmates.

Mahabat emphasized that she "went through the toughest school and passed the exams with flying colors," adding that she is grateful not only to her supporters but also to those who brought her to this place.

In conclusion, she expressed her immense gratitude to her mother, husband, brothers, and everyone who cares about her.

We remind you that in January 2024, Mahabat Tajibek kyzy was detained along with ten colleagues from Temirov Live and accused of inciting mass riots. The court issued a verdict: Mahabat received six years in prison, her colleague Azamat Ishenbekov received five years, while Aike Beishekayeva and Aktilek Kaparov received probation. The other seven were acquitted.

In 2026, the defense of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy filed a petition to reopen the case due to new circumstances. The hearing of this case is scheduled for March 10 in the Supreme Court.
