According to GKNB data, during the fight against corruption in state enterprises, cases of embezzlement and misappropriation of budget funds were identified, committed by the former manager "P.B.M." and the chief accountant "M.N.A.".
The investigation established that from January to September 2025, using their official powers, they embezzled 5 million 213 thousand 900 soms.
As investigators found out, the central office of OJSC "Kyrgyz Post" transferred funds to the account of the Leilek branch for the purchase of computer equipment, furniture, plastic windows, and for carrying out repair work over a period of nine months. However, according to GKNB information, these goods were not purchased, and the repair work was not carried out.
In addition, according to the investigation, the suspects paid employees inflated amounts of salary to bank cards and then asked them to return the excess transferred money in cash, justifying it as a technical error.
On March 11, 2026, "P.B.M." and "M.N.A." were charged under Article 210, Part 4, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Embezzlement or misappropriation of entrusted property"). The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention, and they were placed in the pre-trial detention center of the GKNB KR.
