According to information from Turmush, the tragedy happened on March 13, 2026, at around 07:20 on the 386 km of the highway, when a fuel tanker of the brand "DAF" collided with a passenger car "Hyundai Sonata." The fuel tanker was heading towards the city of Osh, while the "Hyundai" was going towards Bishkek.
At the scene of the accident, a girl in the "Hyundai" died. The driver, a young man, was urgently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Kara-Kul Center for General Medical Practice, but unfortunately, his injuries were incompatible with life, and he also passed away.
During the investigation, it was established that the driver of the fuel tanker was 46-year-old K.M. from the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region. The driver of the "Hyundai" was 27-year-old S.K. from the Kok-Jar microdistrict in Bishkek.
There was also a 15-year-old passenger B.A. from Kara-Kul in the "Hyundai."
As a result of this incident, both young individuals lost their lives.
An investigation into the circumstances of the traffic accident is underway.
