Thus, Norway has updated its own record for the number of gold medals won at a single Winter Olympics. Previously, in 2022 in Beijing, Norwegian athletes won 16 gold medals, which was then an outstanding achievement.

Norwegian athletes achieved victories not only in biathlon but also in disciplines such as cross-country skiing, freestyle, Nordic combined, ski jumping, and speed skating.

In total, the Norwegian team has already won 36 medals of various denominations at the current Games.
