Currently, the second ranking tournament of 2026 is taking place in Tirana.
The men's competitions were held on February 25-26, and a total of 10 sets of medals were contested.
The Kyrgyzstan team featured 10 wrestlers at this tournament, who won three medals — gold, silver, and bronze.
In the team standings, the Kyrgyz wrestlers scored 55 points, which allowed them to take 7th place among 29 participating countries.
In the weight category up to 70 kg, the Kyrgyz team won two medals: gold for Ernazar Akmataliev and bronze for Zalkarbek Tabaldiev. According to the tournament rules, only the points of one athlete from each country are counted in the team standings, so Kyrgyzstan could not receive 15 points for Tabaldiev's bronze medal.
