An international wrestling tournament MUHAMET MALO–2026 took place in Tirana, Albania, where Kyrgyzstani wrestler Üzur Jusupbekov won a bronze medal in the 96 kg weight category.
Initially, Jusupbekov confidently defeated Turkmenistan's Amanberdy Agamammetov with a score of 9:0.
In the fourth round, the Kyrgyz wrestler lost to Arthur Sargsyan (Russia) — 0:9, but had the opportunity to continue competing for medals through consolation matches.
In the consolation match for a place in the small final, Jusupbekov won against Mahammad Akhmadiyev (Azerbaijan) with a score of 8:2. In the final match for third place, he defeated Iranian Amirreza Moradiyan with a score of 4:2.
