In Kyrgyzstan, the school sports league has resumed its activities, covering football, volleyball, and basketball. This was announced during a meeting of the parliamentary committee by the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Urmat Asanbaev.

Deputy Bolot Sagynayev, participating in the discussion, pointed out the importance of school leagues for the development of football and volleyball. He emphasized that active school competitions foster children's interest in sports, which, in turn, leads to their participation in tournaments and improved results.

The people's deputy expressed interest in the issue of reviving the school league.

Urmat Asanbaev confirmed that the project has already been relaunched. He reported that team registration has been completed, and about 2000 teams are participating in the league.

The head of the agency noted that competitions in three sports are being held this season: football, volleyball, and basketball. In the future, the addition of table tennis and national sports is expected; however, as Urmat Asanbaev pointed out, the lack of sports infrastructure currently hinders the development of some disciplines.

He also reported that the fifth season of the school league has already begun, and the final events are scheduled from May 1 to 9.
