The Kyrgyzstan Ice Climbing Championship Took Place in the Ala-Archa Gorge

On March 7, the open championship of Kyrgyzstan in ice climbing took place at the ice waterfall Ak-Sai in the picturesque Ala-Archa gorge, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the mountaineering section "SKIF-Polytech".

This tournament was organized by the Directorate for Non-Olympic Sports in collaboration with the Federation of Mountaineering and Sport Climbing.

The competition gathered more than 40 participants, including athletes from various clubs in Kyrgyzstan as well as guests from Russia and Kazakhstan.

The competitions were held on specially prepared ice routes created on the natural terrain of the Ak-Sai waterfall.
