At the Arnold Sports Festival, one of the largest multi-sport events held in Ohio, Kyrgyzstani weightlifters once again showed excellent results. This is reported by the official website of the championship.
In the M110 category competition, Bekdoolot Rasulbekov won, successfully competing against 108 other athletes.
In his weightlifting exercises, he demonstrated an outstanding result:
- snatch — 165 kilograms;
The total result of the combined event allowed him to take first place, earning him the gold medal of the tournament, as well as the title of "Best Athlete" among the participants.
Thus, at this tournament, the Kyrgyzstan team has already won five gold medals, which is a significant achievement for the team.
