Umar Orusbaev from Kyrgyzstan has successfully reached the final of the Youth World Boxing Cup taking place in Montenegro.

The competition, named the "Pearl of the Adriatic," began on March 4 in Budva. The tournament features 10 sets of medals contested among boxers aged up to 19 years.

Orusbaev competes in the under 60 kg category, which includes 16 boxers.

The Kyrgyz athlete started his journey from the 1/8 finals, achieving three consecutive victories over opponents from Estonia, Ukraine, and Sweden, which allowed him to reach the final.

In the decisive match, which will take place on March 11, he will face a representative from Kazakhstan.

The fights will begin at 21:00 Bishkek time.
