Iskandar Rasuljanov won bronze at the Youth World Cup in Montenegro

At the Youth World Boxing Cup in Montenegro, Kyrgyzstani Iskandar Rasuljanov took an honorable third place.

The competition, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," began on March 4 in Budva and gathered participants under 19 years old.

Iskandar competed in the weight category up to 80 kg, where 13 boxers were competing.

He started his journey from the quarterfinals, achieving a confident victory over Nursultan Nazarbayev from Kazakhstan with a score of 5:0.

However, in the semifinals held on March 9, Rasuljanov lost to an opponent from Serbia.

Thus, he finishes the tournament in third place and receives a bronze medal.

In the category up to 60 kg, Umar Oruzbai was able to reach the finals, and Kutmanbai Muratov (up to 70 kg) also won bronze.
