Arman Tsarukyan, the Armenian fighter who missed the bout against Islam Makhachev in 2025, remains one step away from a title fight in the lightweight division (155 pounds) but emphasizes that he wants to stay active in the ring.

At the recent Real American Freestyle tournament, he confidently defeated Lance Palmer and also became the holder of the ACBJJ title by beating Mehdi Baidulaev, showcasing his skills in wrestling and grappling.

In his YouTube interview, Tsarukyan noted that he is ready to fight for the BMF belt while waiting for the opportunity to compete for the lightweight title, considering potential matchups against fighters like Paddy Pimblett or Justin Gaethje. Additionally, he expressed a desire to consider moving to featherweight (145 pounds) for future title fights.

Despite the challenges he faces in the UFC, Tsarukyan is focused on maintaining consistent activity in the Octagon and preparing for his championship bout.
