This spring, world boxing champion Dmitry Bivol will meet German boxer Michael Aiferth in the ring. The date of the bout is scheduled for March or April, during which Bivol will defend his IBF title. Preparation for the upcoming fight will begin in Kyrgyzstan.
According to Boxing Scene, citing Bivol's manager Vadim Kornilov, this fight will be the first for the athlete after his February victory over Artur Beterbiev, which earned him the title of undisputed heavyweight champion. It is worth noting that in August, Bivol underwent back surgery and is now preparing for his next bout.
Currently, 35-year-old Bivol has 24 wins and one loss in his professional career. His opponent, 28-year-old Aiferth, boasts 13 wins and also one loss.
