The Pro Swim Series tournament took place from January 14 to 18 in Austin, Texas. Petrashov participated in three races.
The final in the 100 meters breaststroke occurred early in the morning on January 15. The Kyrgyz swimmer finished second, winning a silver medal, and was only 0.1 seconds behind American Matthias Vann.
On January 17, the final for the 50 meters breaststroke took place, where Petrashov again showed an excellent result, finishing with a time of 27.12 seconds and again taking second place. In this race, he was also outpaced by Vann.
In the decisive race on January 18, he again finished second, earning his third silver medal of the tournament. This time he was surpassed by four-time Olympic champion and seven-time world champion Leon Marchand from France.
